A guide to managing user profile information, notification preferences, and security options within the Quepass platform. The Settings section enables clients to update personal details, control how they receive system alerts, and strengthen account security. All changes made here apply to the currently logged-in user account. The Settings module can be accessed from the Client Dashboard sidebar under Settings.

1. Settings Interface

The Settings interface combines multiple panels for profile management, notifications, and security in a structured layout. SettingsInterface The layout includes:
  • General Settings panel
  • Notification Preferences panel
  • Security Settings panel
  • Save Changes button
This structure allows clients to manage account-level configurations efficiently.

2. Using the Settings Module

The Settings section allows clients to update their personal information, control notifications, and configure security options.

General Settings

The General panel is used to update basic user profile information. Clients can view or edit: Full Name — Update the display name associated with the account Email Address — Displayed for reference only; cannot be changed Phone Number — Update the contact number linked to the account This information is used for account identification and communication purposes. Notification Preferences

The Notifications panel allows clients to control how they receive system updates and alerts. Available options include: Email Notifications — Receive important account and system updates via email Text Notifications — Receive alerts and updates through SMS or text messages Each option can be enabled or disabled using the toggle switches. NotificationPreferences

Security Settings

The Security panel helps clients strengthen account protection and manage session behavior. Security options include: Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) — Adds an extra layer of security during login Session Timeout — Automatically logs the user out after a period of inactivity; the timeout duration can be selected from a dropdown SecuritySettings

Saving Changes

After making updates in any section: Save Changes — Click this button to apply and store the new settings Changes take effect immediately once saved. SaveChanges

3. Operational Use Cases

The Settings module is commonly used for:
  • Updating personal information for account identification
  • Controlling how system updates and alerts are received
  • Enabling additional login security using Two-Factor Authentication
  • Configuring session timeout for automatic logout
  • Ensuring account settings are up-to-date and secure
